Membership Requirements

What it takes to become an MLS Now Participant, and what happens after you apply.

The broker or primary appraiser must join MLS Now before their affiliate agents/appraisers can receive the Service. If you're an agent or appraiser and your broker or primary appraiser is already a Participant, use the Roster Change Form instead.

Eligibility

MLS Now exists to provide cooperation, collaboration & communication between MLS Participants & Subscribers. Cooperation is the obligation to share information on listed property and make property available to other brokers for showing when it's in the client's best interest.

Applying

Each broker or appraiser must complete an Application for Participation and all required paperwork, and must read and agree to the Rules & Regulations. Bylaws are included in the Participant Packet once membership is approved.

Dues

Participants are charged semi-annual dues; each affiliated licensee/appraiser is also charged dues. The Participant is ultimately responsible for all dues and fees.

Approval

Once received, the application is verified and sent to the noted Board for approval. Once approved, information is entered into MLS Now's database and you're notified of your acceptance date — usually 2–3 business days.

Access & the Introduction to MLS class

All new Participants and affiliated agents/appraisers get a temporary password. New or reinstated agents (not an MLS Now user within the past year) must complete the Introduction to MLS class within 30 days, or the password expires and Matrix access is lost.
